Best Sauna I’ve ever had, Carl and his brother made us feel very welcome and the experience is very extensive with many plunge pools, nice lavender oils and even a pond you can go into to cool off

Highly recommend this spot! The yurt sauna had cosy lighting and nice natural aromas from birch and sage, making it a super relaxing and unique experience 🛖Nice views from the plunge pools and pond The guys who ran it are legends and we left feeling fully recharged

We rocked up to Tigh n Alluis over Paddy’s weekend with a crew of Boston lads thinking we were just in for a quick sauna… ended up having one of the best experiences of the trip. The private yurt setup is unreal…tucked away in the Glencullen hills, like you’ve stumbled into some secret little wellness cult (in a good way). The sauna is roasting, the cold plunges are absolutely feral (again, in the best way), and the whole thing just hits different after a few days of Guinness, pizza, and questionable decisions. Pete gave us “the full Irish” … a full download on the history of saunas, rituals, and how the Irish have apparently been hearing and freezing themselves voluntarily long before it was trendy. Half of us went in for the heat, the other half stayed for the storytelling. Karl and Pete have nailed it. It’s relaxed, a bit wild, and exactly what you want. No fluff, just a proper experience that leaves you feeling human again. Safe to say the Boston lads are now converted. We’ll be back… maybe with slightly less Guinness in the system next time!

Not a common thing for me to do but I’m really glad I did it. Very invigorating. The spot they were located felt like you were there thousands or years ago. The sweat yurt felt like all the bad toxins came out of my body then the cold plunge just cleaned it off my body. Karl and Pete were fantastic very knowledgeable and explained what it all meant in the history of Ireland. Highly recommend

Great experience at Tigh'n Alluis. Our group of 10 guys had a pre St Paddy's sweat house and cold plunge session that was not only invigorating, but also interesting as Karl and Pete (our hosts) provided all kinds of information on the history of Irish Sweat Houses. Scenery is unbelievable - a definite recommend for a memorable and unique adventure.

Gorgeous views over the mountains with some lovely touches; incense in the barrel sauna, dip in the pond, fire-pit and herbal tea/fruit to enjoy. Will definitely be back.
